Faculty

Ginger Lobeck is the founder of Hollister Montessori School and currently holds the position of Head of School. She has a BA in French from Holy Names University and has received both the AMI Primary and Elementary Diplomas. After many years in the classroom at both levels, you can now find her greeting parents and children, working in the school office and helping out as needed in the classrooms.

Debbie Parga is a Primary Guide.  She has a background in early childhood education with an Associates Degree from Gavilan College and received her AMI Primary diploma in 2005.  Debbie worked in the classroom as an assistant before taking her Montessori training.  She has looked at the program through the eyes of both a parent and a teacher.  Her quiet voice and demeanor set the tone for the Primary class.

Dana Rianda is the assistant in the Primary class.  She has a BA in Child Development and Political Science from California State University at Chico.  Dana has spent many years in the classroom as a parent, a substitute teacher and an assistant.

Jeff Chu holds the position of Elementary Guide in a 6 – 12 class. Before undertaking his Montessori training, he spent nine years living and working in China and is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Jeff brings to the classroom his interest in languages, history and culture, and a background in music. In his own words he loves “to discover the connections that bind us all together both in terms of history and through our ever more interconnected world today.”
